Augustus received a MFA in Directing at American Film Institute where his thesis film won him a Student World Award for Best Director. Before his masters, Augustus graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he was honored by the Cinema Studies department as the flag bearer of his graduating class.

Augustus’s films have garnered hundreds of thousands of views online and have competed in dozens of festivals across the globe, including the International Horror and Sci Fi Film Festival, the LA Indie Film Festival, and New Filmmakers New York Film Festival. His films have been distributed on prominent channels such as Gunpowder & Sky and England’s Channel 4.
